Well, obviously not, as I’m writing a blog rather than doing anything important like making something, changing the world, saving a life or simply cleaning up.
The title of this post was a deliberately crass reference to this blog by writer Tim Kreider about avoiding what he calls “the busy trap”. It made me squirm a bit – reading that I had actually put “relaxation” on my “to-do” list made me realise just how planned my life is, and how much ego-boosting I derive from it.
Today’s plan? Not to use the word, “busy” in reply to anyone asking how I am. Because most of it’s just padding and wibble surrounding the really important stuff,
