Introducing…The Postnatal Survival Guide!

<drum roll>….It’s here!

Well – sort of. The Postnatal Survival Guide, my new ebook about getting through PND is finally here. It’s currently available on Smashwords and Amazon, but in the next few weeks you’ll be able to get hold of it via Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Apple and Diesel too.

I’m offering it free for readers of my blog – it’s a minor faff, but to get it free from Smashwords, search for the Postnatal Survival Guide, register to buy it, then enter the code: DN57R at the checkout.

Let me know what you think – and please feel free to share the code with your friends. If you’ve got a few minutes spare you could even review it on Amazon or Smashwords for me :-) .

Coming soon – The Postnatal Survival Guide

Feeling dead chuffed today as my book is finally coming together. It’s full of tips and advice that I and others have found useful in getting though PND.

I’ve got a great foreword from Liz Wise, top postnatal depression counsellor at the Cedar House support group, and some very honest and moving case studies to illustrate the bits where my own experience is inadequate.

Hoping to launch it on Parent’s Day – 28th October.

It’s called the Postnatal Survival Guide and here’s a sneak preview of the cover:

If you know of anyone who’d like a review copy (as soon as I’ve got it formatted) or a copy of the press release, please let me know!

Fertile Thinking – Kindle Easter offer

Around this time two years ago, I was finishing writing my first book, Fertile Thinking, co-authored with Anya Sizer. I’d had the idea after finishing my life coaching training and realising that I express myself most effectively through the written word, rather than in person! Anya is a long-time friend of mine and a kind, empathetic and very effective infertility counsellor. I wanted to make her advice and expertise available to all, not just those who attend her sessions at the London Women’s Clinic.

Anyway, two years on and we’re still getting very positive feedback from the book. It is definitely my most satisfying professional project to date, and I still benefit personally from a lot of the exercises that we included to make help people take control of their lives, regardless of what was happening with their fertility.

I’m flagging it up today because the Kindle edition of Fertile Thinking is on special offer on Amazon from today for two weeks – just 99p. The paperback version is currently being reprinted, but if you’d like a copy sooner rather than later please email me and I’ll send you one at a discounted price.
